Treatment Angel is free for anyone looking for addiction treatment. We pay for it by selling listing plans to treatment centers. Here is how that shows up on the site, and what money can't buy.
Treatment centers can pay for a Pro or Premier plan. Wherever a paid plan puts a center in front of you, its listing carries a gold badge: Featured for Pro and Premier for Premier, so you can tell an ad from a regular listing. The "Featured Centers" row on center pages is also labeled Ads.
Paid centers appear:
Centers on a paid plan also don't show other centers on their own page.
In search results and lists, centers are sorted like this:
"Similar Treatment Centers" on a center's page is not paid: it shows centers that treat the same conditions in similar settings, verified centers first, then claimed, then the rest.
Paying doesn't change a center's star rating or its reviews, and it doesn't change which searches a center matches for treatments, insurance or other filters: those come from what the center lists. A listing, a badge or a position on the page is not a recommendation or an endorsement of a center.
Before you decide, check a center's state license and accreditation, and ask about the treatment it offers, costs and your insurance. If you or someone you love needs help right now, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357: free, confidential and open around the clock.
