Arlington Recovery Center provides detox and residential treatment for adults facing substance use disorders, including alcohol, opioids, and other drugs. Staff help clients stabilize, begin structured recovery, and access care funded by Arlington County for residents of Arlington and the City of Alexandria. The program offers 24/7 support in a focused early-recovery setting.
Clinicians use evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and life skills training to help clients understand their patterns and build new coping skills. Staff offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT), trauma-informed care, and individualized assignments so people stay engaged and connect treatment goals to their long-term recovery.
Clients live in a staffed residential environment with shared rooms, daily meals, and comfortable common spaces for groups and activities. The setting provides stability during early recovery, and staff coordinate medical and psychiatric care as needed. Case managers help with housing, transportation, and aftercare planning so clients leave with a clear plan for continued support.
