Caz Recovery Unity House is a residential recovery facility located on Buffalo’s east side, offering a supportive, community-style environment for adult men battling addiction, substance abuse, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Designed to accommodate up to 24 residents, the center focuses on reintegration through a continuum of care that connects clients with outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment, primary and specialty medical services, and vocational or educational support. Caz Recovery Unity House specializes in helping chemically dependent men, particularly those at risk of homelessness, build stable, independent lives through individualized treatment plans that promote empowerment, accountability, and long-term healing.


Each client at Caz Recovery Unity House receives personalized support tailored to their unique recovery goals and duration of care, ranging from several weeks to a few months. The program incorporates holistic and trauma-informed therapy, individual and group counseling, daily life skills training, case management, and relapse prevention planning to strengthen recovery from addiction. The facility provides semi-private accommodations, nutritious on-site meals, and a recreational area for structured group activities. Fully handicap accessible and located along a major bus route, transportation alternatives are available for residents. Certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports and overseen by the Erie County Department of Mental Health, Caz Recovery Unity House delivers compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers men to overcome addiction and achieve lasting recovery.
