Chrysalis House Long Term, established in 1986, is a leading residential recovery center in Maryland that uniquely allows women to live with their children during treatment, eliminating a significant barrier to care. The program supports mothers and women without children, offering services at no cost for clients with Medicaid. Applicants must complete detox and remain substance-free for at least five days before admission. Chrysalis House Long Term specializes in Substance Use Disorder (Addiction) treatment, providing a safe and structured environment for long-term recovery and personal growth.
The center’s ASAM Level 3.3 residential program provides 24/7 clinical supervision and individualized care plans, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), addiction education, relapse prevention, family counseling, and on-site 12-Step meetings. Additional support encompasses life skills training, parenting classes, case management, transportation assistance, and on-site child care. Graduates can continue recovery through intensive outpatient (ASAM 2.1) or standard outpatient (ASAM 1.0) programs, which offer counseling, MAT, relapse prevention, drug testing, and community referrals. Chrysalis House Long Term ensures women with Substance Use Disorder (Addiction) maintain stability, build resilience, and successfully transition to independent living.
