North County Serenity House Women’s, a program under HealthRIGHT 360, provides comprehensive addiction and mental health treatment services for women in San Diego County. As part of HealthRIGHT 360’s network of over 50 programs across California, this center specializes in residential treatment, transitional housing, and peer support for women and families. Their women’s residential facility serves up to 120 clients at a time, offering medically monitored detox and trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Uniquely, the program allows up to 20 children under the age of five to stay with their mothers during treatment, fostering family stability while supporting recovery.
In addition to residential care, North County Serenity House operates Serenity Village, a transitional housing program featuring 8 family-style homes for women and their children. Each home includes shared bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and living spaces, along with built-in peer support to encourage sustained sobriety. Clients can stay up to two years, receiving self-sufficiency classes and guidance to reintegrate into their communities. With rent charged on a sliding scale based on household income, Serenity Village provides affordable, supportive housing that empowers women and families to achieve long-term recovery and independence in a safe, structured environment.
