Adult and Teen Challenge Portland Men's provides a Christ-centered, long-term recovery program for men seeking freedom from **drug and alcohol addiction**. Located in Estacada near the scenic Mount Hood National Forest, this one-year residential program blends spiritual growth with structured recovery practices. Founded on the global Adult and Teen Challenge model—now active in over 95 countries—the Portland Metro Men’s Campus accommodates up to 40 men. With an affordable $500 intake fee and no monthly costs, the program offers an accessible path to transformation rooted in faith, discipline, and community.
At Adult and Teen Challenge Portland Men's, participants engage in a Bible-based curriculum focused on healing from substance use, strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ, and building a renewed life foundation. Daily routines include sermons, prayer, Bible studies, spiritual retreats, and vocational training. Clinical support is available through Life Renewal counseling, which integrates CBT, DBT, and relapse prevention from a Christian perspective. Because the program does not include medical services, detox must be completed prior to admission. To promote focus and spiritual growth, contact is limited to immediate family, electronic devices are prohibited, and smoking is not allowed.
