Herndon Recovery Center, led by Dr. Satnam Atwal MD, provides personalized care for adults and young adults struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The center offers residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, and medically monitored detox. With a capacity of only six clients at a time, treatment is highly focused and individualized. CARF-accredited and led by a board-certified psychiatrist in addiction medicine, Herndon Recovery emphasizes safety, structured care, and comprehensive support for long-term sobriety.

The program utilizes evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and 12-step facilitation. Clients participate in individual, group, and family counseling, with integrated mental health support and educational resources. Residential accommodations feature a quiet home in Fresno with ADA-compliant bedrooms, a backyard, enclosed patio, and on-site meals tailored to dietary needs. Smoking and vaping are allowed in designated areas, and staff are available 24/7. Transportation assistance and social services support help clients transition smoothly while building a strong foundation for recovery.
