ARC House – Dayton is a 13-bed residential treatment center in Madison, Wisconsin, dedicated to supporting women ages 18+ who are working to overcome **strong substance use disorders**. Established in 1990 as ARC’s second residential program, it provides structured treatment for individuals referred by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, U.S. Probation and Pretrial Office, and local county human service departments. Care is offered at no cost, with program funding supported by the Department of Corrections, BadgerCare (Medicaid), and Dane County Human Services.
With a trauma-aware and community-focused approach, ARC House – Dayton delivers comprehensive treatment through substance use assessments, strengths-based case management, individual and group therapy, continuing care planning, and support for medication-assisted treatment. Licensed as a community-based residential facility and certified for substance use disorder care, the center provides a structured, safe, and empowering environment that helps women build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and successfully return to community life with stability and confidence.
