Young People In Recovery-Merced is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young adults ages 18–24 who are overcoming Substance Use Disorder. The program focuses on peer support, advocacy, and education to help individuals build a strong foundation for long-term recovery. Through a welcoming and inclusive environment, the center empowers those in recovery, those seeking help, and supportive allies to connect and grow together while breaking the stigma surrounding addiction.
At Young People In Recovery-Merced, members engage in weekly All Recovery Meetings and bi-weekly pro-social events such as art activities, outdoor experiences, and community gatherings that promote a positive and fulfilling recovery journey. The program emphasizes building meaningful connections, life skills, and recovery-ready communities through advocacy and collaboration. With a focus on peer-driven support and holistic growth, young adults are encouraged to achieve lasting recovery and a healthier, purpose-driven future.
