HCRC New Bedford Treatment Center, previously known as Community Substance Abuse Centers, offers specialized treatment for individuals struggling with **severe opioid addiction**. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using methadone and buprenorphine to support long-term recovery and reduce withdrawal symptoms. Clients at HCRC New Bedford Treatment Center receive a full range of services including individual and group counseling, case management, testing, community referrals, discharge planning, and guest medication services. The treatment center operates Monday through Friday from 5am–3pm with medication services available from 5:30am–12:30pm and special early hours for approved workers. Saturday medication services run from 6am–11am. Transportation options may include PT-1 eligibility based on insurance and convenient access via SRTA bus routes at North Front Street and Kilburn Street, making high-quality addiction treatment more accessible to the community.
