The Steward House at Silver Hill is an exclusive residential treatment program developed in collaboration with Yale New Haven Health and the Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry. Designed for high-achieving executives and professionals, the program treats substance use disorders, including alcohol addiction and drug addiction, alongside co-occurring mental health conditions. Each client receives a highly personalized treatment plan grounded in evidence-based care, helping rebuild coping skills, emotional resilience, and the ability to manage professional and personal demands.
Care at The Steward House at Silver Hill begins with a comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessment followed by individualized therapy, psychiatric medication management, group counseling, and family involvement. Treatment days balance structured clinical programming with time for reflection, wellness activities, and rest, while weekends offer a more relaxed pace. Located on a serene 44-acre wooded campus in Canaan, Connecticut, the residence features private and semi-private suites, chef-prepared meals, a business center, and recreational amenities—creating an environment that supports healing, focus, and long-term recovery.
