Santa Monica House is a nonprofit residential program dedicated to supporting women recovering from drug and alcohol addiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health conditions. The program offers a safe, structured home environment with multiple levels of support, helping women develop independence while rebuilding their lives. With gender-specific, trauma-informed care, residents receive weekly individual and group counseling, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), 12-Step facilitation, life skills guidance, family education, and relapse-prevention support to strengthen emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness.

At Santa Monica House, women live in a welcoming, home-like setting with shared rooms, community dining, and daily routines that encourage accountability and connection. As residents progress through treatment phases, they move into homes with gradually increasing independence while still receiving therapeutic and peer support. Childcare options are available in later stages, allowing mothers to reconnect with their children while maintaining focus on recovery. This structured, compassionate approach empowers women to transition confidently into the community and build stable, sober futures.
