AMS of Wisconsin Oshkosh, located just minutes from downtown Oshkosh and a short drive from Ascension Mercy Hospital, provides compassionate, evidence-based outpatient care for adults struggling with opioid addiction. The center offers a full continuum of services, including medically managed detox, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with methadone, buprenorphine, or Vivitrol, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), standard outpatient care, and aftercare support. Integrated mental health services help address co-occurring conditions, ensuring a comprehensive and person-centered recovery experience.
AMS of Wisconsin Oshkosh combines structure with flexibility to support long-term recovery. The IOP meets four days a week for 2.25-hour sessions over eight weeks, providing nine hours of weekly group therapy focused on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relapse prevention, and 12-step or mutual-support principles. Individual counseling, life skills training, and recovery programs like SMART Recovery or Celebrate Recovery are also included, with both day and evening options available. To ensure continuity of care, the center offers guest dosing for methadone patients, allowing individuals traveling or transitioning to the area to maintain uninterrupted treatment and stay committed to their recovery journey.
