The Gooden Center, established in 1962, has decades of experience providing comprehensive addiction and mental health treatment in Southern California. Their programs include residential treatment and intensive outpatient care (IOP), both lasting 90 days, with options for aftercare and ongoing support. Residential treatment takes place in cozy, gender-specific housing, while therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exercise therapy, nutritional programs, and more to support whole-person healing.
The Gooden Center also offers specialized programs for drug and alcohol recovery, including residential care, IOP, partial hospitalization (PHP), and sober living homes. Clients engage in individual and group therapy, family counseling, 12-Step facilitation, and meditation. The center is CARF accredited, accepts most private insurance, and emphasizes a holistic approach to ensure lasting recovery and mental wellness for every individual.
