Benchmark Transitions offers a specialized dual diagnosis program for young adult men ages 18-26, founded in 1993 by Jaynie Longnecker-Harper M.Ed, a leader in special education and transitional living programs. The center addresses complex mental health issues such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, ADHD, trauma, disordered eating, psychosis, mild autism spectrum disorders, and learning differences. Using a multidisciplinary approach, Benchmark provides evidence-based therapies alongside recreational and holistic services. Residents benefit from individual counseling, equine therapy, life skills development, educational support, family therapy, music therapy, and personal growth strategies, all within a supportive and structured environment.
Benchmark operates multiple residential properties, including Wildwood on a 52-acre working ranch with a luxurious ranch home, and Panorama Ridge for Men with home-like comforts. Transitional living clients reside in Cypress House or Magnolia House within safe, historic neighborhoods in Redlands, California. Some properties feature swimming pools, expansive gardens, recreational rooms, and horses, offering a balance of comfort, structure, and experiential therapy. Benchmark Transitions ensures young adults receive tailored support to achieve independence and long-term success.
