Adult and Teen Challenge Seattle Men's Unverified

Located in Renton near Lake Youngs, the Adult and Teen Challenge Seattle Metro Men’s Campus offers a Christ-centered treatment curriculum for men with substance use concerns. Founded by David Wilkerson in 1960, there are now nearly 250 Adult and Teen Challenge centers in the United States and over 1,000 in 95 countries across the globe. Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge programs charge a fee of $500 at the time of intake, with no monthly cost through the remainder of the program. The Seattle Metro Men’s Campus is a one year program and has a capacity of 20 men. The location is about a 20 mile drive southeast of downtown Seattle.

Program Details

The Adult and Teen challenge Bible-based curriculum focuses on three main goals of recovery from brokenness associated with substance use, reconciliation with Jesus Christ and others, and transformation through the foundation of Jesus Christ. Throughout the program, individuals will attend sermons and participate in Bible studies, prayer, spiritual retreats, and vocational training. Clients also participate in outreach events, including street evangelism and helping youth avoid alcohol and drugs. Adult and Teen Challenge does not employ medical staff, so participants must have completed detox prior to admission to the program. To help focus on recovery, contact is limited to immediate family and electronic devices are not allowed. With the goal of helping participants achieve recovery from all substance use, smoking is not allowed.
