Odyssey House – Teen Residential offers comprehensive, personalized treatment for adolescents ages 13–18 struggling with **substance use disorder** and co-occurring mental health or behavioral challenges. As part of Utah’s long-standing nonprofit treatment network, the program begins with a thorough assessment to tailor care for each teen and their family. Certified addiction specialists, counselors, mental health providers, and psychiatric staff work together to address depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and related concerns. Teens benefit from evidence-based therapies, family involvement, structured routines, recreation activities, and creative expression, all designed to build accountability and long-term sobriety.
Education and life-skills development are core components of treatment at Odyssey House – Teen Residential. Odyssey Academy, an accredited on-site high school with small class sizes, helps teens recover lost credits and discover academic interests and future career paths. Daily routines teach essential skills such as cooking, organization, communication, and leadership, while vocational training prepares teens for future employment. Upon completing the 6–9 month program, teens transition into outpatient care with continued access to aftercare services and a supportive alumni community, ensuring stability and sustained recovery.
