San Antonio Recovery Center (SARC) Cagnon is a comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment center in Texas offering a full continuum of care, including medical detox, residential treatment, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), gender-specific sober living, and aftercare services. SARC combines evidence-based therapies with a holistic approach to support clients from the start of their recovery journey through long-term sobriety. Daily schedules balance therapy sessions with personal and wellness activities, including process therapy, chemical dependency education, relapse prevention, step/big book study, AA meetings, chores, and wellness dinners, while ensuring rest with lights out at 10:30 PM.

A unique aspect of SARC Cagnon is Lacy, a trained recovery support dog who participates in animal-assisted therapy. Rescued after Hurricane Harvey, Lacy’s story mirrors the journey of many clients seeking help. Her presence provides comfort, emotional support, and motivation, helping clients connect with their healing process in a safe and nurturing environment. The integration of supportive therapy, structured schedules, and holistic care ensures that clients leave SARC equipped with coping skills, life strategies, and a strong foundation for maintaining lasting recovery.
