Crossroads Greater Portland Counseling Center, located in Scarborough at the junction of Route 1 and Highway 701, provides specialized outpatient care for individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders and eating disorders. With more than 50 years of experience, the center offers women-only intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and day treatment, along with outpatient counseling and education groups for women, men, and families. Accessible by public transportation and offering support for childcare and transportation needs, Crossroads creates a supportive and inclusive environment focused on long-term recovery.
At Crossroads Greater Portland Counseling Center, women’s IOP and day treatment programs use evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and ACT, combined with medical nutrition therapy and structured group support. Additional services include individual, couples, family, and group counseling for drug addiction, alcohol addiction, and eating disorders, as well as relapse prevention and 12-Step support. The center also provides a Driver Education and Evaluation Program (DEEP) for individuals with DUI-related charges, ensuring comprehensive care that addresses both clinical needs and life skills for sustained recovery.
