Set Free Alaska provides comprehensive treatment for substance use addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders through a trauma-informed, Christ-centered approach. The program integrates mental health assessments, psychoeducational services, and evidence-based therapies in both individual and group settings. Serving diverse needs across generations, Set Free Alaska offers gender-specific residential programs, outpatient services, and a children’s intervention program designed to support adolescents and families affected by addiction and behavioral health challenges.
Recovery from addiction at Set Free Alaska is guided by personalized assessments and proven treatment models, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), motivational interviewing (MI), and 12-Step facilitation. Clients participate in regular 12-Step meetings and skill-building groups focused on relapse prevention, coping strategies, communication, and trigger management. Residential centers are located in peaceful neighborhood and rural settings, creating a supportive environment for healing. While faith-based, the program welcomes individuals of all backgrounds, is Joint Commission accredited, and accepts most private insurance and Medicaid.
