Liberation Programs Westport Youth & Family Resources is an outpatient treatment center that provides specialized support for youth and families dealing with Substance Use Disorder (Addiction) and mental health challenges. Located in partnership with Staples High School, the program offers intensive outpatient (IOP) services designed to help young individuals and their families navigate recovery while continuing their daily responsibilities. Clients can access care through in-person visits or convenient telehealth appointments. Treatment typically includes individualized counseling, group therapy, and family counseling sessions that focus on strengthening relationships, improving communication, and building healthier coping strategies.
At Liberation Programs Westport Youth & Family Resources, a harm reduction approach is used to support individuals facing Substance Use Disorder (Addiction). The program integrates therapy with medication-assisted treatment options such as Buprenorphine, Naltrexone, and Suboxone to help reduce cravings and support long-term recovery. In addition to clinical care, the center provides prevention and outreach services, including recovery coaching, community education, and mobile outreach programs that connect individuals with treatment resources and support. By combining counseling, medication management, and community-based initiatives, the center helps youth and families build healthier futures and prevent addiction-related challenges.
