APT Foundation Access Center provides walk-in outpatient services for individuals facing addiction, substance use disorders, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, and co-occurring mental health conditions. The center offers individual, group, and family therapy, medication management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and integrated primary care services, creating a one-stop setting for whole-person recovery. Clients may also enroll in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that meets three days per week and includes at least nine hours of structured group therapy, individual counseling, and psychiatric consultation while allowing continued engagement in daily life.
At APT Foundation Access Center, care is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). Daily therapeutic groups address trauma, relapse prevention, psychoeducation, goal setting, mindfulness, acupuncture, gardening, and wellness-focused skill building. MAT options include methadone and buprenorphine, with psychiatric oversight to ensure safe and effective medication use. Telehealth services are available when needed, and family and couples therapy supports emotional and relational health. As part of APT Foundation, serving communities since 1970, the Access Center follows an open-access model and accepts walk-in clients regardless of ability to pay.
