Turnbridge is a gender-specific recovery program designed for young adults struggling with addiction, substance use disorders, and co-occurring mental health conditions. The program follows a structured three-phase model that helps clients build stability, skills, and independence over time. Phase one focuses on adjustment and engagement, offering a supportive daily routine that includes life skills development, therapeutic journaling, group therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), case management, and 12-Step meetings. As clients progress, treatment expands to include educational, employment, and volunteer guidance, helping them reconnect with academic and career goals while practicing real-world recovery skills.
Located in New Haven, Connecticut, Turnbridge provides phase-based, gender-specific housing in comfortable colonial-style residences that promote community and accountability. As clients move through the program, they gain increasing independence while remaining supported by counselors and peers. Recreational activities such as fitness, outdoor adventures, and team sports are integrated to support physical and emotional wellness. With all healthy meals provided, a focus on sober living, and financing options available for private-pay clients, Turnbridge creates a structured yet empowering environment where young adults can overcome addiction and build a foundation for lasting recovery.
