The Link Halfway House is a licensed residential program for adult men (19+) recovering from chronic **substance addiction** and co-occurring mental health disorders. Designed for individuals who have completed short-term treatment and maintained at least 30 days of sobriety, the program offers 9 to 12 months of structured support in a sober living environment. Residents experience a stable community that promotes accountability and independence while preparing them to live confidently without intensive care.
Grounded in 12-step principles and whole-person healing, The Link Halfway House provides individualized plans featuring relapse prevention, psychoeducation classes, life skills training, employment coaching, and both individual and group counseling. Licensed clinicians and peer recovery professionals help residents build emotional resilience, responsibility, and long-term recovery skills. The home-like facility is staffed 24/7, and residents must work full time or volunteer if on disability. Graduates receive free outpatient therapy and access to a dedicated alumni group, with many continuing their recovery journey through nearby structured housing options like the Lincoln or Truman Houses, ensuring lasting support beyond treatment.
