Crestwood Santa Barbara Crisis Residential provides a short-term, voluntary program for adults aged 18–59 experiencing psychiatric crises. Situated near the Pacific coast, the facility offers a warm, home-like environment where guests receive 24/7 care from a compassionate team, many with lived experience. The center focuses on personalized support, combining clinical guidance with peer-led assistance to help individuals navigate crises safely and begin their journey toward recovery.

The program incorporates dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices to strengthen emotional regulation and coping skills. Guests develop a Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and participate in vocational and life skills training through the Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network.
