Women's Recovery Services Unverified

Women’s Recovery Services (WRS), founded in 1975, provides a 120-day residential program for pregnant and parenting women, offering safe housing for up to 52 women and their children. The center addresses addiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health challenges through individualized care, including counseling, dual-diagnosis treatment, prenatal and medical support, immunizations, and transportation to school, appointments, and court. Holistic therapies and creative classes such as art, music, dance, equine therapy, meditation, and pilates help women rebuild emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being, fostering stability and long-term recovery.

WRS also supports families through The Children’s Program, where young children receive on-site care while mothers attend recovery sessions. School-age children attend local schools with full support, and parenting guidance and play therapy help families reconnect. With three long-term transitional care homes across Santa Rosa, WRS ensures continued recovery support, offering a nurturing environment where women and their children can heal, grow, and thrive together in a safe, empowering setting.
