The Last Resort Recovery (TLR) in Austin, Texas, is a premier men’s residential treatment center offering a supportive environment for healing from addiction and fostering brotherhood.
TLR provides 30–90 day residential programs, medical detox, and intensive outpatient aftercare, using a combination of 12-Step immersion, evidence-based therapies, and holistic treatments such as talk therapy, equine therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention.
Treatment is personalized, addressing the unique needs of each client, including group therapy, co-occurring mental health care, fitness programs, and individualized recovery plans. After completing the residential program, clients are encouraged to continue care through transitional housing, support groups, or IOP.
Set on 51 acres with 20 horses, TLR integrates equine-assisted therapy to promote emotional growth, trust, and self-awareness. The ranch offers quiet reflection spaces, meditative walking paths, a gym, swimming pool, and spacious communal areas with homey charm.
