Twin Rivers Women’s Center, located in Yuba City’s historic Cooper neighborhood, provides a safe and supportive environment for women aged 18 and older seeking recovery from trauma, substance use, or life-controlling challenges. The center offers a structured 12 to 18 month residential program that blends faith-based guidance with holistic support. Residents engage in therapeutic activities, spiritual growth, and life skills development, allowing them the time and space to heal emotionally, grow spiritually, and build a strong foundation for long-term recovery and personal transformation.

The program emphasizes hands-on growth and community involvement, including vocational training, mentoring, and participation in outreach activities. Residents serve local churches, prepare community meals, tend gardens, and join mission trips to share their experiences and faith. Additional activities, such as lake outings and collaborative projects like “Be the Church,” foster teamwork, confidence, and time management skills. By combining practical experience with spiritual and emotional support, Twin Rivers Women’s Center empowers women to achieve lasting change, purpose, and independence in their daily lives.
