Drugs are banned substances that people secretly take as a medicine or narcotic to experience euphoria.
Drugs consist of hard drugs, soft drugs and prescription drugs. Examples of hard drugs include cocaine, LSD, heroin and meth among others. Examples of soft drugs include alcohol, marijuana and ecstasy. While prescription drugs that could easily be abused with severe addiction potentials are opioid painkillers, nicotine, morphine and fentanyl among others.
All these could be cause serious addiction problems with life-threatening health complications. Examples of health problems that could arise from drug abuse and addiction are blackouts, slurred speech, nausea, vomitting, impaired judgment, liver disease, weight loss, organ damage, disorientation, depression, psychosis, stroke and sudden death among others.
