Design for Change provides comprehensive care for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Located in a supportive setting, the center offers medical detox, residential treatment, day treatment (PHP), outpatient care, and aftercare services. They treat co-occurring conditions like depression, anxiety, and trauma while offering intervention services through a specialist helpline and in-person sessions. Programs range from short-term 3, 5, and 7-day detox to longer-term 30, 60, and 90+ day residential stays. Evidence-based therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention planning. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with methadone, buprenorphine, or naltrexone is available as needed.
In addition to clinical care, Design for Change emphasizes holistic healing and personalized support. Clients engage in art therapy, music therapy, yoga, psychodrama, biosound therapy, outdoor activities, and animal interactions to strengthen mind-body wellness. Specialized programs for veterans and first responders address trauma and stress recovery. Family therapy focuses on improving communication, creating healthy boundaries, and fostering stronger relationships. Aftercare services ensure ongoing support with 1:1 and group therapy, medication management, alumni meetings, and assistance connecting with community resources, including sober living and 12-Step programs. This well-rounded approach helps clients achieve lasting recovery and build a healthy, balanced life.
