Guardian Recovery – Plymouth House provides a full continuum of care for adults living with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, including medical detox, residential treatment, and partial hospitalization (PHP) with on-site housing. Founded in 2002, the program follows an evidence-based, 12-Step–focused approach supported by on-site psychiatrists, therapists, and physicians. Set on 60 acres in the foothills of the White Mountains, the serene campus promotes healing in a structured, nature-centered environment while working with most major insurance providers.
The Plymouth House delivers integrated treatment for drug addiction and alcohol addiction using therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR, and motivational interviewing. Gender-specific housing, family therapy, and a phased 12-Step model guide clients from detox through extended care. Holistic services including yoga, meditation, fitness, nutrition, and life skills training support healing of mind, body, and spirit, while relapse prevention and family involvement strengthen long-term recovery and successful reintegration.
