Located in Riverside, California, MFI Recovery - A Woman’s Place provides family-oriented residential treatment for women with substance use concerns and their children. The center offers a safe, nurturing environment with childcare, cribs, high chairs, playrooms, outdoor play areas, and walking access to a local elementary school, allowing school-age children to continue their education during treatment. Conveniently located about a mile from the Downtown Riverside Metrolink Station, the center provides easy access to Los Angeles. Women typically stay for 3-6 months and can remain at the facility while pregnant, caring for children, or working to regain custody.
A Woman’s Place delivers gender-specific, trauma-informed care, combining individual, group, and family therapy with detox when needed. Their individualized programs integrate evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), life skills training, and parenting classes to support women in rebuilding their lives and thriving as mothers. Continuing outpatient care is offered to ensure clients achieve long-term recovery while maintaining a strong connection to their families and community.
