Henry Ohlhoff House provides gender-specific, long-term residential programs for adults struggling with substance use disorders. The men’s program supports clients who maintain work schedules while participating in evening and weekend sessions, following a pro-social, peer-oriented philosophy combined with evidence-based therapies. The women’s program is designed for those re-integrating into work, school, or volunteer activities. Both programs require a 3-6 month commitment to promote lasting sobriety. Clients receive at least one individual therapy session per week, two peer group sessions, vocational assistance, and random drug and alcohol testing to ensure comprehensive support throughout recovery.
Participants also engage in off-site spiritual weekend retreats to foster personal growth and reflection. Upon program completion, clients gain lifetime access to aftercare groups, on-site 12-Step meetings, and continuous peer support. Henry Ohlhoff House integrates structured therapeutic care with holistic and community-based support, empowering adults to rebuild their lives, enhance life skills, and maintain long-term recovery.
