The city was founded by John Bidwell, a general during the 1800s. Thanks to his founding, Chico now has the lovely Bidwell Park for visitors and local residents to enjoy. This is one of the many popular hotspots for people to visit during the sunny, bright days that so often occur in Chico.
Chico's population is active and engaged in activities in general, whether it is via its community theater or Chico's very own community observatory, which is free on weekends! Despite all these amazing aspects of the city of Chico, however, problems such as heroin addiction can be found here.
Because heroin can be harmful in so many ways, it is important to seek treatment as soon as is possible. Otherwise, heroin addicts could become completely dependent on it, making withdrawal symptoms potentially harmful. Treatment is easier to find than you might think, however, especially because it is such a growing problem at the moment.
Treatment generally begins with a detoxification, since that will rid the body of the drug in a safe way. After that, the next steps include heroin rehab. This likely includes a combination of behavioral therapy and medication of some kind.
