AKUA Mind and Body - Newport Beach offers a unique addiction treatment program combining traditional and Eastern medicine practices in gender-specific housing. The center provides detox, residential treatment, and Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) with typical stays including detox lasting 30 days. Clients engage in individual and group therapy, life coaching, and evidence-based therapies such as mindfulness, meditation, yoga, music and sound therapy, Tai Chi, relapse prevention, and nutrition counseling. AKUA emphasizes aftercare through a robust alumni program with weekly meetings, social events, and access to an alumni app to ensure continued support.

The Newport Beach location features home-like accommodations with well-appointed rooms, vaulted ceilings, and a total of 12 rooms including 6 detox beds.
