Boardwalk Recovery Center, located near Pacific Beach in San Diego, provides intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for individuals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Their team of master’s and doctorate-level clinicians offers evidence-based therapies combined with experiential treatments to foster lasting recovery and personal growth. The IOP supports clients stepping down from detox, lasting 30-90 days, and includes individual and group therapy, 12-Step support, and a family program with weekly sessions in-person or via Zoom to educate and involve loved ones.

The center also specializes in dual-diagnosis treatment, addressing conditions such as mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, and eating disorders alongside addiction. Boardwalk Recovery integrates holistic and experiential therapies like meditation, breathwork, hiking, surfing, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) therapy, and Ecopsychology to promote resilience, confidence, and a sense of grounding.
