El Centro de Ayuda was established in 1981 as El Centro Substance Abuse Treatment Center (SATC) under the corporate umbrella of El Centro Human Services and incorporated in 1996 as El Centro de Ayuda (ECDA). El Centro de Ayuda has over thirty-five years of experience in providing a wide array of human services to low income families residing in the Northeast Los Angeles.
